As Steamericas dealer network grows, we would like to recognize dealers who go above and beyond to push the Optima Steamer brand and provide superior service to the Optima customers. This year’s recipients have been chosen primarily based on 2019 performance.
Most Decorated Dealer of the Year goes to McHenry Pressure Washing Systems of Maryland.
This category is awarded to a dealer who has exceeded the quota and keeps consistent unit and parts inventory for best customer experience (both sales and service). Amongst Steamericas staff, McHenry has a rep for ordering parts regularly even without immediate service needs. We asked Jay Keller of McHenry why it is important for McHenry to keep a healthy stock of especially parts.
“The Optima line of equipment has been a great addition to our business. Having an adequate inventory of parts for any equipment line we carry has always been a part of our business plan. Our service and support is one of the biggest values we have to present to our customers, and you can’t service equipment without parts.
Most of our customers purchase the Optima Steamer as a key part of their business investment. Our commitment to our customers is to make sure they can maintain a high level of operation. Being able to fix or repair their equipment in a timely manner is essential. Maintaining an adequate parts inventory is also a key part of a relationship between distributor and manufacturer. It is one of the key factors to a successful, long term relationship. Ultimately this completes the full circle of business, from beginning to end we are here before, during and after so our very valuable customers know they can invest with us for success.”
Rising Star of the Year goes to Tuyaux Flexibles of of Montréal-Est, Quebec, Canada.
This award goes to a dealer who has exceeded the quota and shown the most increase in sales in a short period of time with consistency. Since becoming Steamericas’ dealer in 2016 Tuyaux Flexibles has increased Optima Steamer sales by 20~100% every year. We asked Mélissa Lapierre of Tuyaux Flexible what actions helped her company be successful with the Optima Steamer line.
“In 2019 we decided to expand our network to conquer new markets with the help of a solid sales team (sub dealers) who understood the target industries. Our main goal was to reach out to companies in the food industry, breweries and weed removal, etc… We approach every client with the idea to help them either solve a problem or find a more eco friendly cleaning or sanitizing solution.
Proper planning, good communication and innovation were our strategy for building long term partnerships with our clients. We started to offer many different services such as demos, rentals and available on place technicians. The results were very successful!”
Pioneer of the Year goes to NorthStar Cleaning Concepts of Washington.
This recognition is awarded to a dealer who exceeded the quota and sold the most in a new/emerging market. NorthStar Clean Concepts spent a busy year providing equipment and services to agriculture customers in 2019. We asked Dustin Anderson of NorthStar Cleaning Concepts to tell us more about the industry where the Optima Steamer found its niche in Eastern Washington.
“We have found that the Apple Industry in our area finds the Optima to be a daily use machine in their operation. They have special cleaning needs for sanitizing many areas, they especially like the steam for some of their dry area cleaning. Your Steamericas Optima units have been the machine that meets and exceeds those expectations. Furthermore I would like to thank Ebony (Young) for all of the support and quick response time with any issues. Ebony has made it possible for us at Northstar Clean Concepts to succeed in both sales and service of your Steamericas Optima Steamers.”
Brand Ambassador of the Year goes to Glen Williams of PSI in California.
This recognition is awarded to a dealer or an individual employed by a dealer who promotes Steamericas products and brand tirelessly through social media, dealer referrals and trade shows. We see Glen’s weekly posts on social media, and he has helped us expand dealer and service network through referrals. We asked Glen why staying active on social media and other means of showcasing products is so important to him and PSI.
“In today’s marketing environment you need to get in front of your customers in any forum they will use. For example, detailers are especially crafty and always looking for new avenues to market themselves in new and inexpensive ways. Using Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Alignable and lesser knowns: Swarm, VERO, WildFyre, MeWe, ZOHO and local sales platforms like LETGO, OfferUp, Craigslist, 5miles and anything new as it starts are great ways detailers connect to new markets and if they are spending time in these marketplaces they will be looking for what you are selling too. If you aren’t there, they won’t find you! Staying active on these apps is only the first step to effectively marketing your product but with Our products; and especially the Optima XD® Steamer, people need a demonstration. Trade shows are long and hard work but never pass up an opportunity to deliver that demo!”
